About The Position

At Westside, we’re committed to creating an environment where therapy is engaging, supportive, and truly impactful. As the Clinic ABA Director, you’ll not only provide exceptional ABA services as a practicing BCBA, you’ll also shape and strengthen the clinic’s ABA team. In this leadership role, you’ll offer mentorship and clinical guidance to both BCBAs and RBTs, facilitate team meetings, and ensure staff feel empowered, supported, and aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field
  • Current BCBA certification and Illinois state licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing ABA services as a BCBA
  • At least 1 year of experience supervising RBTs

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing ABA team through daily performance management, regular 1:1s, annual reviews, and ongoing coaching to support clinical competency, engagement, and professional growth.
  • Provide strong clinical leadership by mentoring BCBAs, RBTs, and fieldwork students; supervising RBT and client hours in alignment with BACB and CASP guidelines; and facilitating weekly team meetings that keep the team aligned and supported.
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care by conducting assessments, reviewing client progress, developing and updating individualized programs, auditing documentation for accuracy and timeliness, and modeling therapeutic best practices as needed.
  • Ensure operational excellence by reviewing and approving timecards and scheduling requests, partnering with the ABA Training Team for successful onboarding, and upholding compliance standards across SOAP notes, treatment plans, and reports.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative clinic culture by partnering with interdisciplinary teams and leadership to coordinate care, support continuous quality improvement, and contribute to a supportive and engaged workplace environment.
