Registered Nurse, Critical Care Unit Full Time, 72 Hours Per Pay Period, Day Shift Rotating weekends Leconte Medical Center Overview: LeConte Medical Center is a part of Covenant Health, our region's top-performing healthcare network and is a 79-bed community hospital located in the heart of Sevier County. Requirements
- Must possess at least one (1) year of professional experience.
- Valid Tennessee license.
- CPR required.
- BLS required
Responsibilities
- Correlates patient history and support systems within hospital care.
- Assess learning needs of patient and family.
- Develops and initiates teaching plan, involving patient and family.
- Recommends interventions.
- Evaluates plan of care.
- Resolves problems regarding less complex issues without oversight or supervision.
- Member of established active hospital committee or subcommittee with 75% participation in meetings.
- Demonstrates willingness to precept new employees/students as directed.
- Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
