Conducts nutritional assessments, designs and recommends plans of care, evaluates and monitors nutritional intervention. Provides nutrition education to patients, families and staff. Teaches nutrition classes. Functions as a member of multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Serves as a nutrition resource for healthcare team, hospital staff and community.
