The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a willingness to learn, and at least 6 - 12 months’ experience in the tree care industry with utility line clearance and significant climbing experience. This is a full time, year-round, outdoor, physical labor opportunity. Duties: Tree climbing, manual removal of vegetation from work areas, safely operating various forestry equipment (woodchipper, giraffe, hydraulic equipment, bucket truck, chainsaws) performing line clearance, pruning, and removals.

Requirements

Must have previous experience in the Tree Industry.
Must have previous climbing and utility line clearance experience.
Must have bucket operator experience.
Must be able to work 45 hours a week.
Must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent.
Must be able to work outside in various types of weather.
Must be physically able to perform the requirements of the position.
Must be willing to work at varying heights up to 75 feet.
Must be able to work in a team environment and be safety orientated.
Must be willing and able to learn how to run a bucket truck & operate equipment safely.
Must be willing and able to obtain a CDL A or B license within the first 6 months of employment (this is paid for by Lucas Tree Experts).
Must be willing and able to obtain, and maintain licenses & certifications as required by the position to grow your career (this is paid for by Lucas Tree Experts).
Must be able to successfully complete a post offer physical & drug screen as well as a background and motor vehicle check.
