Summary of Role & Key Responsibilities The North and Latin America (NALA) Center of Expertise (CoE) Lead for Risk & Resiliency will lead the NALA Risk & Resiliency team, define and drive regional excellence standards, elevate go-to-market and delivery quality, and build capabilities across a matrixed team—aligning closely with the Global Solution Lead to maintain coherence and innovation across regions. The NALA CoE Lead for Risk & Resiliency will shape propositions, methods, and tools, champion thought leadership, and support major pursuits and flagship delivery.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in sustainability/ESG consulting or related domains.
  • Proven subject matter expertise across several of the following:
  • Physical and transition risk and opportunity assessments
  • Financial impact assessment, aligned with IFRS
  • Business Continuity or Business Resilience Planning
  • Mandatory and voluntary reporting, including CA SB261, CSRD, ASRS, ISSB, and TCFD
  • Demonstrated ability to shape propositions, standardize delivery, and lead QA in a matrix environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen (pursuits, scoping, pricing, win strategies) and a track record of business development contribution.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influence without authority across executive, technical, and delivery teams.
  • Excellent project/program leadership, problem solving, communication, and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MSc/MBA) in a relevant field (Sustainability, Environmental Science/Engineering, Economics/Finance, Risk, or related).
  • Experience building training programs and communities of practice; coaching and mentoring consultants.
  • Sector depth in one or more priority industries (e.g., food & agriculture, retail & apparel, financial services, technology, and healthcare & pharmaceuticals).
  • Network of industry relationships (clients, collaborators, data/tech partners, associations).

Responsibilities

  • CoE Proposition & Quality Leadership:
  • Define and evolve the North and Latin America (NALA) proposition for Risk & Resiliency in line with global frameworks (methods, models, tools, templates, Quality Assurance /controls).
  • Establish and maintain world class delivery standards and minimum expectations; lead QA reviews on high impact client deliverables.
  • Identify emerging trends (e.g., regulation, markets, data, tech) and integrate into the proposition, working closely with the Global Solution Lead and Digital/Data teams.
  • Own and refresh core sales and marketing collateral (service overviews, credentials, case studies), aligned with regional and global best practices.
  • Community of Practice, Capability Building, & Integration:
  • Facilitate regional community of practice (team stand-up call, knowledge sharing, clinics, playbooks, case debriefs)
  • Contribute to the global community as the regional point of contact into the global CoE; adopt and adapt global standards to regional requirements to ensure cross regional consistency.
  • Ensure integration with adjacent Climate & Nature and cross-Business Line solutions across the broader client journey.
  • Lead the technical training agenda for the CoE: curricula, enablement pathways, and coaching for consultants across experience bands.
  • Mentor practitioners; provide growth feedback and skills development guidance (without people management accountability).
  • Delivery Excellence & Project Support
  • Act as project director or executive sponsor for select flagship engagements to embed standards, accelerate learning, and showcase best in class delivery.
  • Coordinate deployment of CoE practitioners to projects in partnership with operations leads and People Managers; optimize capability to demand alignment.
  • Drive continuous improvement in service offerings to meet market demands and deepen expertise along client journeys.
  • Go to Market & Business Growth:
  • Partner with Client & Growth leads to shape go to market plans, campaigns, and pursuit strategies for priority clients, sectors, and solutions.
  • Support major pursuits with subject-matter depth and delivery credibility; Achieve CoE and personal sales targets.
  • Track and report CoE pipeline health, win rates, and revenue contribution; support pricing strategies and scalable delivery models.
  • Shape and communicate Anthesis’ point of view on material topics in regionally, and globally – as applicable.
  • Lead or co lead thought leadership (white papers, briefings, webinars) with Marketing, Growth leads; represent Anthesis at conferences and forums.
