About The Position

General Statement of Duties: Manage and defuse crisis situations, reinforce appropriate behaviors and redirects negative behaviors, works one-on-one with students to affect behavior changes, implements behavioral programs and provides interventions to assist students in making positive and appropriate decisions. General Responsibilities: Train and coach staff on building and clarifying school-wide expectations. Provide support on strategies to create a positive school climate. Provide support using restorative practices, Ruler, PBIS and SEL practices. Build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the community to improve the overall school climate. Assist students with making positive choices. Collaborate with administration on reinforcing positive behavior. Contribute to the social emotional goals of the school. Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience working in an educational environment.
  • Strong oral and written skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
