You independently operate and maintain at least one process or equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge in machine operations, TPM-Total Productive Maintenance Tools.
  • Understanding of safety and quality standards for operating machinery.
  • Ability to read and write fluently in the language of communication as appropriate to the site.
  • Collaborate well in a diverse work environment.
  • Understanding of total productive maintenance tools and methodologies.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience performing food safety and quality activities in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in SAP, MES, other manufacturing execution software.
  • Bachelor's degree in science or a related field preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Safe Quality Foods (SQF) audit system, FSSC2200 or similar GFSI standard.
  • Ability to assist in project management and apply principles of logical and/or scientific thinking to the resolution of problems.
  • Experienced at training quality and production personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain equipment to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets.
  • Execute all standard work processes using AM and PM (progressive maintenance standards).
  • Ensure that safety processes are observed and that quality assurance activities are performed.
  • Take an active role in shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions loss analysis and breakdown elimination.
