Caring Transitions of Schenectady supports local families during some of life’s biggest transitions — downsizing, moving, and estate sales. We bring compassion, organization, and peace of mind to seniors and their loved ones throughout Schenectady County.

We are looking for dependable, kind, and organized individuals to join our team as Client Transition Specialists.

Requirements

• Friendly, compassionate personality
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Respectful of client privacy and belongings
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• No specific industry experience required — training is provided
• Lift and carry items up to 40 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation)
• Stand, bend, and move throughout the day
• Work in residential homes that may include stairs or light dust

Responsibilities

• Organize and sort household items
• Help pack, unpack, and resettle belongings
• Assist with estate sale setup and online auctions
• Photograph items for auction listings
• Interact respectfully and compassionately with clients
• Work closely with team members to complete projects efficiently
• Operate point-of-sale systems when needed
