Client Transaction Services Specialist (Accenture LLP; Irving, TX): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Client Transaction Services Specialist in Irving, TX, and the job duties are as follows: Prepare custom financial models, analyze and advise on complex outsourcing and consulting proposals. Use accounting principles to prepare income statements, balance sheets and cash flows in compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and Commercial Standards. Leverage client cost data to develop cost baselines and client business cases in support of sales efforts. Identify costs and financial considerations in performing the cost buildup for an individual opportunity. Ensure revenue recognition is US GAAP compliant, Tax compliant and Accenture policies are reflected accurately within the financial models. Accountable for obtaining and maintaining all documentation supporting the financial statements for new opportunities, including both client-facing financials and Accenture's internal financial records. Develop pricing strategies, client value propositions, and custom client pricing forms, and create commercial contract language and proposals. Assess and apply various pricing methodologies to meet company and client objectives. Provide guidance to sales teams on pricing and commercial strategy development and implementation. Work with teams to optimize pricing and profitability.

Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field, plus 3 years of experience in the IT consulting industry.
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience in the IT consulting industry.
  • Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Working in a large corporate environment with direct involvement in financial modeling utilizing Excel, Salesforce, and Microsoft suite products with the ability to work independently and within a team setting; Working on complex pricing, deal structuring and proposal development leveraging Excel, custom assets and tools for building unique pricing forms, adhoc reporting and analysis; Applying U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to prepare financial statements; Utilizing Microsoft Excel for financial analysis by applying financial concepts, including Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Payback Period, Return on Invest, Days Sales Outstanding, and budgeting; Providing financial expertise during the proposal development period, including advising on pricing strategies, negotiations and commercial insights, leveraging competitive intelligence, historical insights, client requirements and unique elements of the deal profile; Working cross-functionally and supporting multiple concurrent projects and proposals; Supporting large projects with extensive delivery requirements including business process outsourcing and enterprise transformation with cross-border teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation; Applying appropriate costing requirements in alignment with commercial terms including Cost of Living Adjustment, Tax, Foreign Exchange, payment terms, investments, contingencies, and revenue recognition; and Drafting commercial terms and conditions for clients and subcontractors based on financial terms of an agreement.
  • Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 80% of the time to meet client needs.
