About The Position

The purpose of this position provides specialized support for a variety of technology hardware, software and peripherals.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Computer Information Technology or of study related to the occupational field.
  • More than one year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Installs and maintains computers, printers and other peripheral devices.
  • Installs and maintains computer software and hardware.
  • Prepares video conferencing equipment of classes and conferences.
  • Installs and provides maintenance and training for classroom technologies.
  • Installs, troubleshoots and maintains VOIP telephone systems.
  • Provides technical assistance to faculty, staff and students.
  • Responds to help requests received by telephone, by email and in person and resets passwords.
  • Assists A/V technician as required.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
