About The Position

The Client Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date data in our agency management systems and supporting both clients and internal teams with administrative and customer service tasks. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office and client service workflows.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2–3 years of customer service or sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Experience working in a professional office setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail, and organizational ability

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for accounts, including handling coverage questions, policy changes, endorsements, certificates, and renewals
  • Distribute incoming mail and handle outgoing priority mail
  • Answer and transfer phone calls professionally
  • Monitor outgoing faxes and confirm delivery
  • Maintain an organized and professional front reception area
  • Manage and restock office supplies
  • Create and maintain both digital and paper customer files
  • Ensure efficient processing of correspondence and customer service documents
  • Greet and direct clients and visitors
  • Troubleshoot billing issues and provide basic client support
  • Perform other administrative and client service-related tasks as assigned
