Client Support Representative

About The Position

This full time, non-exempt position will primarily provide administrative, technical and sales support for the investment department including assignments to assist our internal and external clients.

Requirements

College degree and/or related industry experience
Series 7 and 66 licenses must be obtained within 1 year of date of hire
Highly motivated with positive and professional demeanor
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Extremely well-organized, detail oriented and accurate; must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks as business needs change within the department
Ability to learn and master computer programs that house customer data
Ability to understand and adhere to industry rules and regulations
Basic bookkeeping skills and record keeping ability

Responsibilities

Answering phones on a client service desk
Providing backup on the reception desk
Helping clients to understand and log in to their Davenport Online accounts
Assisting with all forms of account paperwork
Following compliance policies and industry regulations
Processing mail merges
Working with internal service departments including Operations, New Accounts, Portfolio Services, Financial Services, and Research, among others
Assisting Financial Advisors with Client Reports, Salesforce, Quote Screen Support, Research Reports, and other items as needed
Travel may be required on occasion
