About The Position

Assists with adult client one on one enrolled in a day program with daily life, social and academic skills and/or behavior management training. Observes and monitors client’s behavior and charts observations and incidents. Serves as role model and provides emotional support and feedback to client and their support system.

Requirements

• Ability to observe and monitor program participants’ behavior
• Ability to train program participants in routine daily living skills
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Ability to participate in supportive guidance
• Must be proficient with computers.
• High school diploma or equivalent and six months social services experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age with three years driving experience (per policy) to provide transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with developmentally delayed population preferred.
