About The Position

CommpayHR is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Client Success Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a trusted partner to our clients, helping them navigate the complexities of being an employer while ensuring they receive maximum value from CommpayHR's solutions and services. You will play a critical role in driving client satisfaction, retention, and growth by proactively identifying client needs, delivering tailored solutions, and collaborating closely with sales leadership to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience in client success, account management, customer relationship management, or consultative sales
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding sales, upsell, or account growth targets
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on client retention and long-term partnerships
  • Experience with employer-related services such as HR, payroll, benefits, PEO, SaaS, B2B Sales or professional services (strongly preferred)
  • Consultative mindset with the ability to understand business challenges, experience our services from the client's perspective and recommend customized solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, internal and external (trusted advisors to client / COIs)
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally with sales and leadership teams
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to analyze metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple client relationships simultaneously
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales tracking tools

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with employer-related services such as HR, payroll, benefits, PEO, SaaS, B2B Sales or professional services (strongly preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships that drive retention and business expansion
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' strategic and operational challenges as they grow headcount, expand services, or face common employer-related issues
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the client experience and support account growth
  • Ensure CommpayHR solutions and services are applied effectively at every stage of the employer lifecycle
  • Partner closely with Sales Leadership to track progress, meet milestones, and monitor key performance metrics
  • Meet or exceed monthly upsell and growth targets as outlined in the annual sales plan
  • Serve as a client advocate while balancing business objectives and revenue goals
