About The Position

The Client Success Consultant (CSC) leads account management excellence, ensuring a seamless experience for BELAY Financial clients and providers. Using financial expertise, the CSC identifies growth opportunities, strengthens client relationships, and drives long-term engagement. By proactively addressing client needs, the CSC enhances satisfaction, expands revenue, and maximizes value for both BELAY and its clients. The ideal candidate has strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills, along with expertise in financial management and account strategy. As a member of the BELAY Corporate Team, you are expected to participate in phone calls and meetings (virtual and onsite), while serving as an example of the company's mission: BELAY exists to provide solutions that equip our clients with the confidence to climb higher.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years accounting and/or bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Excellent understanding of best financial practices and accounting processes
  • Must be driven self-starter, a positive thinker, loyal and trustworthy
  • Attributes of flexibility, creativity, self-discipline, strong organizational skills, and action-orientation are essential
  • Command presence with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player who is willing and able to 'roll-up the shirt sleeves' to get a project done when needed
  • A high degree of autonomy with the capability of working remotely
  • Must be comfortable with video and phone calls as the main forms of communication

  • Cast vision for what the Client/Provider relationship could be long-term
  • Manage the onboarding process for each new client
  • Intentionally and thoughtfully match providers with clients for a successful, long-term relationship
  • Serve as a 'coach/consultant' to our clients and providers
  • Strategically manage a client roster, focusing on retention, growth, and duration
  • Embody a growth mindset, and invest time, trust, and expertise to strategically upsell additional solutions offered by BELAY
  • Provide insight into accounting nuances, empowering clients to navigate financial complexities
  • Effectively oversee the management of client or provider crises and escalate matters when necessary
  • Collaborate with all necessary individuals regarding contract changes and terminations
  • Effectively manage calendar to allow for efficient onboarding of new clients
  • Provide honest feedback on provider performance
  • Communicate in a timely and professional manner
  • Create and foster self-managing engagements through resources and coaching
  • Ensure documentation and communication are current, detailed and accurate
  • Provide insight and recommendations to strategically enhance the overall experience
  • Conduct routine account reviews with the Director of Accounting Services
