About The Position

As a Client Specialist at Robert W. Baird & Co, you will provide exceptional client service and operational support to Financial Advisors in the wealth management sector. This role involves managing client onboarding, coordinating communication, and ensuring adherence to regulatory policies while leveraging Baird's resources to enhance client relationships and business effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of prior industry and/or administrative work experience.
  • Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam, Series 7, and Series 66 or Series 63 and Series 65 licenses or willingness to obtain within 18 months.
  • Focus on excellent client service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workflow.
  • Understanding of compliance regulations and correspondence policies.
  • Good analytical and critical problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial services or wealth management industry.
  • Familiarity with Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional client service and operational support for Financial Advisors.
  • Coordinate client onboarding, including managing prospect pipelines and preparing new account paperwork.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and manage client needs, advising Financial Advisors of actions taken.
  • Schedule client appointments and manage conference room bookings as needed.
  • Assemble materials for client meetings, including paperwork and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with firm and financial industry regulatory policies.
  • Manage social media presence for Financial Advisors.
  • Maintain the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system for Financial Advisors.
  • Organize and coordinate seminars and client events as directed by Financial Advisors.
  • Review investment opportunities daily and notify Financial Advisors to take action.
