About The Position

The Sr. Client Solutions Architect will oversee and focus comprehensive infrastructure, security, and technology strategy for our clients. This role serves as the primary technical advisor for client environments, ensuring optimal technology alignment with business objectives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a client-centric approach to deliver exceptional services and drive client outcomes. They will develop and mentor Client Solutions Architects and support their deliverables to their respective covered clients.

Requirements

  • The ideal Client Solutions Engineer brings 6-9 years of progressive IT experience with 3+ years in enterprise client-facing roles and 5+ years in MSP environments, holding current certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS, CISSP) and expert-level proficiency in cloud architecture, security frameworks (NIST, CMMC 2.0), and emerging technologies.
  • This role requires exceptional C-level relationship management skills, strategic thinking to translate business objectives into actionable technology roadmaps, and outstanding communication abilities to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Success is measured by maintaining 95%+ client satisfaction scores, delivering 3-5 major strategic initiatives quarterly, driving 15%+ annual growth in client technology spend, and achieving 90%+ success in proactive risk management.
  • The successful candidate demonstrates a client-centric mindset, commitment to continuous learning, collaborative spirit across Client Success and Project Management teams, and contributes to industry thought leadership while maintaining unwavering focus on service excellence and technical quality.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead a formal mentorship program for Client Solutions Architects, focusing on developing their technical expertise, client relationship skills, and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Create individualized development plans for each mentee, identifying skill gaps and providing targeted learning opportunities in areas such as solution design, client communication, and technical presentation skills
  • Conduct regular one-on-one mentorship sessions (minimum bi-weekly) to provide guidance on complex client engagements, technical challenges, and career advancement opportunities
  • Guide Client Solutions Architects in developing deep expertise across multiple technology domains including cloud architecture, security frameworks, and emerging technologies
  • Provide hands-on training in advanced solution design methodologies, architectural patterns, and best practices for multi-client environments
  • Lead technical workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions focusing on complex problem-solving, system integration challenges, and innovative solution approaches
  • Review and provide feedback on solution designs, technical proposals, and client presentations to ensure quality and alignment with best practices
  • Lead and coordinate the infrastructure team's efforts across various technical domains
  • Develop and implement best practices for client infrastructure, security architecture, and technology roadmaps
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team
  • Ensure the team delivers high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations
  • Develop and maintain a deep functional knowledge of customer’s goals, technical challenges, business objectives, critical infrastructure, and proactively mitigate risk within the environment
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive understanding of each client's business goals, strategic plan, technical landscape, and operational challenges.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate technology and security risks across client environments
  • Ensure deep knowledge of critical infrastructure dependencies and their impact on business continuity
  • Create and maintain strategic technology roadmaps that align IT investments with business objectives and growth initiatives
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and client concerns
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with portfolio of clients.
  • Collaborate with Client Success Managers to ensure client satisfaction and address any exceptions that may occur
  • Participate in client meetings to provide technical expertise and insights
  • Collaborate closely with Client Success Managers to ensure technology initiatives support client retention and growth objectives
  • Partner with Project Management Office to ensure seamless delivery of complex technology implementations and migrations
  • Coordinate with service delivery teams to translate strategic technology plans into actionable project roadmaps
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to support client renewal discussions and expansion opportunities
  • Technology Initiative Completion: Successfully deliver 3-5 major strategic technology projects per quarter
  • Roadmap Execution: Achieve 85%+ completion rate of planned technology roadmap milestones
  • Innovation Implementation: Introduce 2+ new technology solutions or optimizations per client annually
  • Assessment Quality: Complete comprehensive technology assessments for 100% of new client onboardings within 45 days
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve 90%+ of potential technology risks before client impact
