About The Position

Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, this position is responsible for overall Client Site design and operation and cooperation with TSG Network Staff. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers. Full Time, On Site Position

Requirements

  • Three (3) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination, education, and experience.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
  • This position is subjected to The Villages Vehicle Safety Program and its policies as it requires the use of personal vehicles for company business.
  • A Valid Driver’s License with a record acceptable to company standards is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a working/troubleshooting knowledge of all Client applications; including but not limited to: CRW Trakit, Numara Trackit, GFI Mail Archiver, Office 2010, Multi-Ops, CityWorks, AdobePro/Reader, GIS, Wintrip, FTP, RP Solutions, Qflow, Manatron Tax Man, Quickbooks, Polaris, VA apps, Chameleon, Fire House, Cassie.
  • Test application changes and find solutions to issues that arise from those changes.
  • Find solutions to Thin Client/Zero Client RDS and VMWare challenges.
  • Provide Rightfax solutions to users.
  • Troubleshoot root causes of application failures/sluggishness.
  • Provide Wireless solutions, data collections/stats for Libraries.
  • Provide Client and state data communication support for Tax Collector, State Attorney, Public Defender, Clerk and Supervisor of Elections.
  • Provide Service Desk response to Trouble-tickets and Service Requests.
  • Research, plans, and implements solutions for assigned IT Projects; attend project meetings, seek solutions, and provide ongoing updates to the IT Operations team.
  • Provide IP Video solutions upon request and test existing video recordings monthly.
  • Troubleshoot IP camera issues.
  • Monitor alerts and server architecture daily, working closely with data center vendor to resolve issues proactively.
  • Escalate tickets as required, keeping customers informed daily until resolution.
  • Support cabling/fiber solutions (design, plan, purchase, install, test, troubleshoot), arranging for sub-contracted solutions where necessary.
  • Meet with IT customers, identifies requirements, defines scope, and agreement of the scope of work.
  • Keep customer informed throughout the process.
  • Provide quick response to all service desk tickets.
  • Assist Service Desk staff as need and required on all tickets that come in.
  • Assist other members of the TSG Client Site Support Team whenever and wherever possible.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Client Site IT.
