About The Position

The Washington County Sheriff's Office is seeking to fill a Client Services Technician I within the Law Enforcement Center (LEC) and Washington County Jail. The Client Services Technician I provides specialized customer service related to the routine operation and maintenance of personal and networked computer hardware and software applications; installs, maintains, and troubleshoots operational issues with the Sheriff's Office individual or networked personal computer workstations, printers, and software applications.

Requirements

  • One (1) year or 45 credits of college-level coursework in computer science or a closely related field, and one (1) year of experience providing computer hardware and software support OR Two (2) years of experience providing computer hardware and software support (applicable certifications may substitute for the education and experience requirements).
  • The selected finalist(s) for this position must be able to pass a thorough background investigation conducted by the Sheriff's Office.
  • The selected candidate must be able to pass a post-offer drug screen.

  • Orders necessary parts, processes receivables, maintains records and inventories of hardware, software, and related peripherals needed for new systems, replacements, and repairs.
