About The Position

Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• One to two years of customer service experience or other relevant experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) preferred.
• Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain professional ethics and confidentiality of client information.
• Criminal background check clearance.
• Negative drug test screen.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a nonprofit organization.
• Familiarity with community service programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the reception point of first contact to NFCC.
• Welcome and log in client assistance at the intake desk.
• Inform clients and potential clients about NFCC services and programs.
• Assist clients in enrolling in special NFCC services and programs.
• Assist agency programs with translation communications.
• Answer general questions and provide information and referrals to other agencies.
• Enter data for client applications within NFCC databases including Salesforce.
• Serve as point of contact for other partner agency staff.
• Regularly work with volunteers.
• Perform all other duties assigned by management.
