About The Position

The Client Services position will serve as a point of contact between the laboratory and our clients. The individual will typically respond to client representative's calls, coordinate specimen pickups and/or re-route calls to its corresponding department. The individual will work under the general supervision of the department supervisor and lab manager.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working in client services
  • Full comprehension of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Outstanding oral and written communication competencies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude are essential
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Basic math skills
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office 2010/2013/2016, Office 365

Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact between the laboratory and clients
  • Assist in all administrative functions of the laboratory
  • Undertake the tasks of receiving calls, routing correspondence, and scheduling specimen pickup with FedEx or private couriers
  • Handle client and laboratory requests and queries appropriately
  • Accession daily samples
  • Forward all samples to their respective departments and send-out facilities
  • Develop and carry out an efficient filing system
  • Assist with coverage of other administrative tasks
  • Maintain a positive, achievement-oriented attitude and influence others to do the same
  • Other duties as directed by the supervisor and/or department's manager
