About The Position

The Client Services Professional (CSP) will be responsible for both teller and new account representative duties and will assist clients at the teller line and at the new accounts desk. The primary responsibility for the CSP is to provide outstanding customer service, help deepen client relationships and attract additional clients.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a teller.
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel; must be able to type and use a ten-key.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle transactions accurately and quickly.
  • Strong math aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when requested and Saturdays.
  • Required to lift heavy coin and sit/stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Keep accurate record of cash drawer while assisting clients with requests such as deposits, withdrawals, and other first-level transactions.
  • Open new accounts and sell additional products to clients and prospects.
  • Support the overall sales efforts of the bank.
  • Follow all compliance and security guidelines to ensure that the client's trust and confidentiality is maintained.
  • Complete sales activities to help attract new clients.
  • Solicit banking relationships and develop prospect lists.
  • Assist with other cross-selling and referrals to other departments of the bank.
