About The Position

The Event Services Manager provides strategic and day-to-day leadership for the Event Assistant and Coordinator team, ensuring seamless operational support for Sales Producers, production teams, and live execution. Reporting to and working closely with the Director of Sales, this role serves as a central point of alignment across departments. The Lead drives service excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement while fostering a collaborative, people-first team culture. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; business, operations, management, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations, project execution, or client-facing production/coordination roles.
  • Proven experience in team leadership, training, and coaching.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects, operational workflows, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel computer skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent customer service skills including tact and diplomacy.
  • Proven ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting.
  • Effective problem solving and mediation skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal communications and conflict management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, highly organized, with outstanding follow-up skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with event planning software is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Train and mentor team members on processes, systems, and operational best practices to ensure consistent execution and professional growth.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with Event Assistants and Coordinators to review projects, execution needs, and performance goals.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback to support professional growth and skill development.
  • Delegate responsibilities to support development while maintaining accountability and quality standards.
  • Oversee on-site support scheduling to ensure proper staffing and coverage.
  • Primary responsibility for creating and approving pull sheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Attend on-site to support execution and coach team members on client management best practices.
  • Manage and support the team that facilitates communication and workflow between Sales and Production.
  • Partner with production department managers to exchange updates, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to strengthen collaboration.
  • Participate in sales meetings to stay aligned with team expectations and sales strategies.
  • Lead and support management initiatives related to new systems and platforms, including Momentus, Ungerboeck and other software.
  • Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Assistant and Coordinator responsibilities.
  • Identify and implement workflow improvements that enhance productivity, consistency, and service quality.
  • Comply with all department and company safety guidelines, procedures, and policies.
  • Complete all required safety training within established timelines.
  • Maintain professional, courteous, and respectful interactions with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee ADP payroll functions, including timecard review and approval, payroll processing, and time-off requests.
  • Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely submission of all employee timekeeping records.
  • Track and enter time, assign hours, and allocate tasks to appropriate jobs within the time and attendance system.
  • Complete all Human Resources and Payroll tasks through the Employee Self Service portal on a weekly basis, as directed.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed.
  • Maintain flexibility to work nights and weekends as business needs require.
