About The Position

The Client Service Consultant I (CSC I) is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative service support for multiple Regional Markets Accounts at MetLife. This role focuses on understanding customer needs and delivering group benefit products while ensuring a high-quality service experience. The CSC I collaborates with various internal teams to resolve issues, participates in strategic planning, and maintains knowledge of MetLife's products and market trends.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of account management and client services experience.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently to meet client deadlines.
  • Self-motivated to learn more about the business and proactive in personal development.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to balance client expectations with MetLife capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • BS/BA Degree is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Group Benefits core products, particularly Life, Disability, and/or Dental.
  • Strong project management skills including problem solving, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and decisiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Accountability for client requests and project leadership.
  • Provide clients with alternative solutions and identify plan design alternatives.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal MetLife teams.
  • Assist with problem resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Participate in client account audits and strategic planning processes.
  • Collaborate with the Financial team to complete client reports and analyze results.
  • Lead the implementation of MetLife products on a global basis.
  • Participate in strategy meetings and establish specific processes and reports.
  • Review contract documents and complete broker agreements.
  • Create process manuals and ensure accurate data input in MetLife systems.
  • Maintain awareness of MetLife's and competitors' products and trends.
