About The Position

The Client Services Business Analyst is responsible for interacting with key users to support the analysis and reporting needs within Client Services including production, ad-hoc and manual reporting. They are also responsible for analyzing supported department's information needs and making recommendations to management regarding solutions to business problems and areas where efficiency can be increased. Additionally, responsible for identifying enhancements to the reporting environment and business processes; and for managing a small team of direct report Jr. Business Analysts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of overall work experience.
  • Preferred experience includes: 1 year with Audi, 3 years in Business-General, 2 years in Collections, 3 years in Customer Service, 2 years in Finance.
  • High School Diploma/(GED) is required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Recommended majors include Business-Administration and Accounting.
  • Preferred experience with report development tools (5 years).
  • Analytical skills.
  • Ability to collect data and establish facts and identify trends and variances.
  • Facilitation skills.
  • PC skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Project Management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly manual reports for accuracy and resolve issues with the Report Analyst Team.
  • Work with the Report Analysts to assess the feasibility of the report request.
  • Work with the department managers to approve the defined scope.
  • Regularly attend departmental and team meetings for the supported department and provide analysis and business consulting to assist with strategic development.
  • Attend project meetings at a customer's request providing any analysis or other information required by the customer.
  • Support the Sr. Manager in the monthly prioritization process to ensure correct allocation of Report Analyst resources.
  • Assess customers' requests and provide ad hoc reporting, along with insight and analysis based on those requests.
  • Identification of cause for expenses and opportunities for savings.
  • Assist in the identification and analysis of items affecting customer service, department performance or employee morale.
  • Assist with special initiatives/projects specific to related MBFS initiatives.
  • Represent reporting during participation on key project initiatives.
  • Proactively identify data gaps and utilize the Data Analyst team to incorporate needed information into the data warehouse during quarterly IT updates.
  • Coach and develop team members.
  • Workload distribution and team calendar management.
