About The Position

The Client Service Specialist plays a crucial role in the Ryan White Part B Program by ensuring that clients can efficiently access core and support services. This position involves reviewing applications, determining eligibility, activating services, and tracking data related to service provisions. The specialist serves as the primary point of contact for client communications and assists with contract and policy amendments, as well as providing support to clients in need of pharmacy assistance.

Requirements

• Experience in client service or a related field.
• Knowledge of health services and programs, particularly those related to HIV care.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with data tracking and management systems.
• Familiarity with the Ryan White Part B Program or similar health programs.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming applications for the Ryan White Part B Program.
• Determine eligibility for services offered by the program.
• Activate and deploy services for eligible clients.
• Track data related to service provisions.
• Monitor phone and email communications for client inquiries.
• Assist the Client Experience Coordinator with contract and policy amendments.
• Provide assistance to ADAP clients when pharmacies contact the program.
• Cover for the Eligibility Specialist and perform expedited eligibility determinations when needed.
• Support the ADAP Administrator in their absence by performing pharmacy overrides.
