Description Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Clinical Coordinator, serves as a professional on the Integrated Community Youth Outreach Unit (ICYOU) that is designed to partner with community agencies to identify children with Serious Emotional Disturbance. Performs a wide range of direct and indirect behavioral health services within the community, program, or area of assignment to consumers. Assist consumers with navigation of behavioral health services including referrals to various programs, program components, and other services in the community. Designs and implements behavioral health activities that may be in the context of other social and recreational activities and events. May provide facilitation of a variety of groups, outreach to consumers with a strength-based solution focus approach, and conduct behavioral health related education and training topics within the community. Conduct screens for eligibility to Families Forward services for youth. Responsible for detailed case documentation. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology or other related field required. Two years of experience (professional or paraprofessional) in the examination, evaluation and treatment of minors and their families required or one academic year of graduate practicum/internship experience with children and families required. Must be able to operate a computer and have the ability to gain proficiency in CMH’s computer systems. Appropriate Michigan certification or licensure preferred. Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use is required.
