About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced and personable Part-Time Client Service Representative to join our dedicated team at VCA Central Park Animal Hospital. Our mission - Your pet's health is our top priority and excellent service is our goal - drives everything we do. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a critical role in providing outstanding customer service and supporting our medical team in delivering high-quality care.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in the animal care field preferred
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with compassion and empathy for pets and their owners

Responsibilities

  • Greeting clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
  • Answering phones and scheduling appointments
  • Confirming appointments and making follow-up calls
  • Explaining fees and processing payments
  • Educating clients on basic pet care and product recommendations
  • Managing medical records and correspondence
  • Maintaining a clean, welcoming, and organized environment inside and outside the facility
