About The Position

The Client Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing the best-in-class experience and concierge services for the bank’s clients. Other key responsibilities include front office operations, teller related transactions, maintaining a cash drawer, processing cash shipments, end of day balancing under dual control, CRM reporting, and client advocacy. The CSR will administratively support various groups within the Bank with special projects, marketing efforts, and tasks. Job expectations is to address all service needs of our clients at CommerceWest Bank.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience, banking experience preferred but not required.
  • Requires the ability to be flexible, work independently and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Team player, self-starter, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines a must.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Present professional image and work well in a team environment.
  • Employee must comply with all applicable Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-money laundering laws and regulations, all Bank policies and procedures, and any other applicable banking laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining the appearance of the front office and coordination of the conference rooms. Daily functions may include:
  • Provides excellent client service to the bank’s clients through educating them on all the bank’s products & services and bank offerings.
  • Receiving and directing telephone calls.
  • Coordination of domestic/international shipping
  • Mail distribution.
  • Ensures timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of client transactions and follows up on all client requests as needed.
  • Ensure practices are in alignment with bank’s policies and procedures to support New Account pre-opening.
  • Identifies, deepens, and maintains client relationships, while communicating outputs to the Account Managers and Treasury Management Specialists
  • Performs teller related transactions, maintains a cash drawer, counts cash, and all other related operational tasks as assigned.
  • Assists various groups within the Bank with administrative duties, tasks, and projects such as, but not limited to marketing efforts, client surveys, inputting data, and creating monthly and ad hoc reports.
  • Assists with scanning, filing and administrative tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Assists with other administrative tasks, perform other duties and special projects as needed and assigned.
