About The Position

Client Service Representative VCA Great Lakes Veterinary Specialists is a busy, small animal specialty and emergency hospital in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. We are seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our team. We are hiring for nights and weekend shifts only at this time and will consider full or part time applicants. We’re looking for a personable yet highly professional “service extraordinaire” to join us in a very important support role for our entire hospital. The ideal candidate is a believer of high quality patient care, a devoted team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, and is invested in the success of the entire team. Requirements

  • experienced Client Service Representative

  • Ability to answer a multiline phone system
  • Conflict management, dispute resolution, and de-escalation skills are a must
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make suggestions
  • Willingness to learn more regarding; customer care, veterinary services

Responsibilities

  • Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting pets and pet parents at ease by creating a welcoming environment
  • Ability to answer a multiline phone system
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Aid with admitting and discharging pet patients
  • Invoicing/billing, processing payments, collection attempts
  • Conflict management, dispute resolution, and de-escalation skills are a must
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make suggestions
  • Willingness to learn more regarding; customer care, veterinary services, and medical office procedures
  • Managing medical records, charts, reports, and correspondences
  • Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments
  • Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside
  • A passion for helping animals and their owners
