The Client Service Officer I at Peapack-Gladstone Bank plays a crucial role in providing exceptional support to Wealth Advisors, Portfolio Managers, and clients. This position focuses on client onboarding and the ongoing management of client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and accuracy in administrative activities. The role emphasizes collaboration and communication, aiming to enhance the client experience within the Private Wealth Management division.

  • Accurate and timely processing of new account openings, account transfers, and account maintenance.
  • Field questions from clients and internal team members, providing proactive communication and information.
  • Manage the entire process of opening and funding new accounts, including preparing KYC documentation and drafting onboarding documents.
  • Set up new clients/accounts in Tamarac and the Tamarac Client Portal.
  • Enter and maintain all client and prospect data in the CRM, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Set up and maintain all new accounts, households, and reporting groups in the Portfolio Management System.
  • Complete Initial and Annual Admin Reviews, scan and file client correspondence, and process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives aimed at improving processes and client experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance/business or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-5 years of client service experience in wealth management, financial services, or a similar industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft® Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to make independent decisions.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Previous experience using a Client Relationship Management (CRM) system and Portfolio Management System (PMS).
  • Experience with Fidelity Investments and/or Charles Schwab.
