About The Position

As a Client Service Manager for RBC’s US Clearing and Custody (C&C) business you will be a primary point of contact and escalation for a group of assigned firms. You will coordinate solutions to complex client issues through the introduction of RBC’s resources including purchase and sales and settlements and trade support. In addition, you will serve as a client advocate in sharing client needs within RBC and act as a conduit for general communications with assigned C&C relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business, marketing, finance, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in trading or institutional services support
  • Institutional brokerage experience
  • Strong understanding of brokerage trading and settlements
  • Exceptional customer service and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to balance client and organizational needs
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Nice To Haves

  • Strong user knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned institutional clients. Coordinating cross-functional solutions across RBC departments (Trading, Settlements, Trade Support, and P&S)
  • Act as a client advocate internally, ensuring institutional needs are prioritized and communicated across RBC’s platform
  • Manage complex escalations (e.g., trade breaks, regulatory inquiries, account set ups) with urgency and precision
  • Develop deep partnerships with institutional client leadership to understand their investment strategies, operational workflows, and long-term objectives
  • Conduct regular meetings and strategic reviews to align RBC’s capabilities with client goals
  • Proactively identify risks (e.g., regulatory changes, market volatility) and position RBC as a solutions provider
  • Advise clients on RBC’s institutional product suite
  • Maintain expertise in institutional regulations (e.g., SEC, FINRA) and RBC’s compliance frameworks to guide clients through complex requirements
  • Lead client adoption of new technologies (e.g., vendor integrations, onboarding)
  • Streamline client workflows by collaborating with RBC’s operations teams
  • Log client interactions in a CRM for transparency and trend tracking

  • The expected salary range for this particular position is $55,000-$95,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
