Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, operations, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in P&C with a carrier, broker, or consulting firm with a strong history of client service
  • Active P&C license required
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage complex accounts and conversations
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Experience leading and implementing new and improved P&C processes that include the development of measurable performance goals, metrics, and benchmarks is preferr

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of Account Managers and Coordinators, creating a performance-based, collaborative environment rooted in accountability and development
  • Manage a partial book of commercial P&C clients, driving retention, renewals, and account growth
  • Oversee renewal strategy, including market negotiations, remarketing, proposal development, and coverage recommendations
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex client or service issues, ensuring timely and thoughtful resolution
  • Analyze exposures, loss history, and client operations to deliver tailored insurance solutions
  • Partner closely with carriers, internal teams, and regional leadership to align service delivery with market strategy and client needs
  • Monitor team KPIs (retention, turnaround time, documentation accuracy, service profitability) and adjust workflows as needed
  • Ensure compliance, documentation accuracy, and best practices within the agency management system
  • Share market insights, carrier feedback, and service trends with leadership to support continuous improvement
