About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing Property & Casualty (P&C) client services team while managing a personal book of business. The Client Service Manager will balance strategic leadership with hands-on client engagement, ensuring account retention, growth, and operational excellence. You will oversee daily client service operations, guide your team toward performance goals, and implement process improvements to drive efficiency. The position involves analyzing client exposures, recommending tailored solutions, and mentoring team members to elevate overall service quality. Remote collaboration with regional leadership and cross-functional teams will be critical to delivering a consistent, client-focused experience. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic, results-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, operations, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of P&C experience with a carrier, broker, or consulting firm, including strong client service expertise.
  • Valid P&C broker’s license.
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring or coaching team members.
  • Strong strategic vision, analytical problem-solving, and client-focused mindset.
  • Excellent people leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency management systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a personal book of business, meeting retention objectives and identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Lead a team of Account Managers and Coordinators, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee daily client service activities including certificates, endorsements, billing inquiries, and renewals.
  • Analyze client exposures, loss history, and operations to recommend effective P&C solutions.
  • Ensure operational and compliance standards are maintained, collaborating with carriers and partners to implement profitable strategies.
  • Track KPIs and implement process improvements to drive operational excellence and service consistency.
  • Address escalated client or internal challenges with professionalism and urgency.
