Client Service Associate

The Client Service Associate plays a pivotal role in modernizing the client experience by providing an elevated standard of care. This position is essential for the development and growth of business, as it involves engaging with clients and utilizing the full capabilities of the firm. The Client Service Associate must possess a thorough understanding of firm policies, procedures, and capabilities to effectively deliver comprehensive services to clients. This role requires a proactive approach to client support, ensuring that all interactions are handled with professionalism and efficiency. In this position, the Client Service Associate will cultivate and enhance relationships with both new and existing clients through active communication. Responsibilities include processing client requests, resolving inquiries, and ensuring that key information and documentation are kept current. The Associate will also identify and assist clients with the firm’s services and solutions, including banking products and secure digital offerings such as Morgan Stanley Online and Morgan Stanley Mobile. Additionally, the role involves onboarding and maintaining client accounts, processing money movement transactions, and reviewing client account alerts to take appropriate action. The Client Service Associate will partner with Financial Advisors to develop business plans and deliver against a client service model. This includes supporting the team’s marketing strategy by maintaining marketing materials, planning client events, and engaging in training and education programs to stay current on firm policies and new platforms. Administrative duties are also a key component of the role, including telephone coverage, business travel arrangements, coordination of client meetings, and maintenance of files and calendars. The Associate is expected to actively participate in firm initiatives and seek opportunities for collaboration with Financial Advisors.
