Job Overview: This is an in-office Wantagh, NY employment opportunity that would allow you to support Financial Advisors with LPL Financial under our Employee Advisor Model. This role may provide support to multiple advisors operating within the credit union space. This opportunity is an excellent steppingstone to continue to build on your wealth management experience and opportunities to work with multiple internal departments at a growing company. As a Senior Client Service Associate, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support within the financial advisor’s practice. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing client relationships, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and supporting the firm’s growth initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, exceptional client service abilities, and a thorough understanding of financial products and services.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of financial industry experience, preferably in wealth management
  • 2+ years of experience in client service industry

Nice To Haves

  • Series 7 License
  • Financial Planning Background: Familiarity with planning concepts and tools to assist with annual updates, account monitoring, and client reviews.
  • Experience in Wealth Management or Advisory Support: Ability to manage account paperwork, ACATs, wires, and client onboarding.
  • CRM and Technology Proficiency: Comfortable maintaining client data, scheduling meetings, and resolving online access issues.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Capable of handling multiple responsibilities such as preparing agendas, coordinating client gifts, and managing compliance follow-ups.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Professional interaction with clients for reminders, requests, and service needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and educating them on firm services and solutions.
  • Assist with account-related requests, including transactions, maintenance, and online access, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage client onboarding by collecting documentation, assessing risk profiles, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare reports and meeting materials, monitor account alerts, and support audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors on business plans, marketing initiatives, and client engagement strategies.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense reporting, and actively participate in training and firm initiatives to stay current on policies and platforms.
