About The Position
The Client Service Associate plays a vital role in the Mariner Wealth Advisors team, focusing on delivering exceptional client service and care. As one of the first points of contact for clients, the associate is crucial in ensuring that clients have a positive experience that not only meets but exceeds their expectations. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy building relationships, connecting with clients, and managing a variety of tasks while maintaining a strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will embody professionalism and a caring attitude, demonstrating the highest level of client service at all times. In this role, the Client Service Associate will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships aimed at client retention. This includes managing the new client implementation process, coordinating and directing client activities with other team members, and providing assistance as necessary. The associate will also maintain both paper and electronic client files in a timely manner, compile quarterly asset values for billing, and handle various fees related to services provided. Additionally, the associate will perform day-to-day administrative duties, which encompass coordinating and scheduling appointments, managing marketing efforts, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. Understanding the client's overall business needs is essential, as the associate will help identify value-added services that Mariner Wealth Advisors can offer. The role also requires reviewing activities within the job scope to ensure sufficient controls are in place to prevent errors, fraud, and misstatements of financial results. Participation in learning opportunities through client service associate meetings and internal resources is encouraged, along with performing other duties as assigned.
