About The Position

Stevens Foster Financial Advisors serves busy corporate executives and high-net-worth individuals through an integrated model of financial planning, tax strategy, and investment management. As a long-established, SEC-registered advisory firm, our work is detail-driven and collaborative, requiring accuracy, follow-through, and strong coordination across teams. The Client Service Associate (CSA) provides operational and client service support across Planning, Tax, and Investment teams. This role ensures account activity, tax workflows, money movement, and client communications are handled accurately, promptly, and in compliance with firm and regulatory standards. This position supports both Planning/Client Account Management (CAM) workflows and Tax-season coordination. This is not a general administrative role. It requires familiarity with securities, retirement accounts, money movement, tax documentation tracking, and structured operational processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of financial services experience
  • Experience working with securities, investments, or brokerage accounts
  • Understanding retirement account types (IRA, Roth IRA, 401(k), etc.)
  • Familiarity with banking and money movement processes
  • Familiarity with trust accounts
  • Ability to recognize and organize tax documents
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize in a deadline-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AdvisorEngine/Junxure
  • Experience with Fidelity Wealthscape and/or Schwab Advisor Center
  • Experience with eMoney
  • Knowledge of Soraban or ability to learn new systems quickly

Responsibilities

  • Process new accounts, transfers, beneficiary changes, and account maintenance
  • Execute money movement (wires, EFTs, journals, contributions, distributions, charitable gifting)
  • Maintain accurate records in AdvisorEngine/Junxure and related systems
  • Update eMoney balance sheets and custody tracking spreadsheets
  • Support documentation related to trust accounts
  • Ensure transactions meet timing and compliance requirements
  • Distribute and track tax organizers
  • Organize and scan tax documents (W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, etc.)
  • Track missing information and proactively follow up with clients
  • Support e-file documentation and confirmation tracking
  • Coordinate mailing of completed returns and tax correspondence
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding documentation and account activity
  • Follow up consistently to obtain required information
  • Coordinate between Advisors, Planners, and Tax team
  • Support shared inboxes, mail processing, scanning, and document workflows
  • Assist during peak planning and tax-season periods
