About The Position

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client and reinsurer relationships across assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with Gallagher Re's service delivery standards. The position also involves close collaboration with processing technicians and account controllers within our service centers of excellence to deliver high-quality service and enhance understanding of client-specific requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; two- or four-year college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Skilled at responding to inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior management, clients, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in mathematical concepts, including discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, algebra, geometry, and applied calculations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to complex issues, including abstract and concrete variables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internal operating systems.
  • Possesses or is actively pursuing the ARe designation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the reinsurance business.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a high level of accountability in all aspects of work.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure clients are aware of and compliant with contractual reporting and payment terms.
  • Maintain ultimate responsibility for query resolution, coordinating directly with clients to manage queries in line with instructions.
  • Serve as an informational resource for clients, brokers, markets, and management regarding assigned accounts.
  • Coordinate and attend technical and claims audits as needed.
  • Attend regular client meetings to ensure satisfaction and gain a deeper understanding of client business and operating environments.
  • Monitor contracts and program experience vigilantly, identifying and escalating anomalies.
  • Create and deliver management information (MI) reports and/or spreadsheet analyses as required by clients and brokers.
  • Partner with Account Controllers to address cash-related issues, ensuring high-priority cash items are communicated and settled outside normal payment cycles.
  • Track unpaid items and collection efforts, providing periodic updates and discussions with clients.
  • Support collection efforts where needed and escalate problem collections to management while managing client expectations.
  • Ensure clients year-end collateral funding requirements are fully met.
  • Coordinate with clients on collateral adjustments, such as LOC increases/decreases or claim drawdowns.
  • Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements, maintaining full compliance with WEM standards.
