Rx Savings Solutions (RxSS), part of McKesson’s CoverMyMeds business segment, is driven to make a difference in the pharmaceutical industry by exposing cost-savings analytics and solutions to our members through our software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications. The Client Renewal & Expansion Manager will play a key role in supporting the RxSS Commercial Team’s client retention and growth objectives. This position is responsible for leading renewal negotiations and executing agreements for existing clients, while identifying and driving opportunities for portfolio expansion through upsell and cross-sell initiatives. The role partners closely with Client Success and internal operations teams to deliver solutions that align with client goals. Additional responsibilities include representing RxSS in client meetings, delivering presentations, and communicating the value of RxSS products and services. Staying informed on new technologies and offerings is essential to success in this role. This role will report to the Managing Director of Client Success, Employers. Our ideal candidate will reside in the Kansas City area to support a hybrid work scenario with our office being based in Overland Park, KS. Candidate must also be available for up to 25% travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in sales & marketing, strategic planning, business management, or equivalent experience and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience
  • 2+ years managing renewal opportunities in client organizations
  • 4+ years of sales or account management experience
  • Experience selling SaaS services or software applications
  • Proven track record of consistent revenue growth
  • Executive relationship management
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills at all organizational levels
  • Knowledge of Employee Benefits or Pharmacy preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conceive, build, and execute renewal strategies for employer contract renewals, including client engagement, negotiation, stakeholder coordination, and signature facilitation (75%).
  • Develop and implement cross-sell/upsell strategies for new and emerging products, partnering with Client Executives to identify prospects and execute sales plans (10%).
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, sales operations, etc.) to support renewal and sales strategies (10%).
  • Refine internal processes for renewals and sales to improve operational efficiency and accuracy (5%).
