About The Position

Marsh USA LLC is seeking candidates for the following full-time position based in the Atlanta, GA office (A hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policies.): Client Relationship Management - Senior Specialist We will count on you to: Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of global insurance policy administration, insurance premium collection, and certificate handling. Participate in insurance contract and compensation negotiations, strategy planning, and customer retention. Develop relationships with customers and act as their trusted insurance/risk management advisor. Responsible for company's overall service delivery to a complex book of customers, including new and expanded revenue generation. Serve as the primary point-of-contact and project manager for customers and ensure progress towards all deadlines and deliverables. Align customer insurance/risk management strategies and needs to company's capabilities and resources. Liaise between internal teams, vendors, and customers on an ongoing basis to ensure exceptional service delivery. Collaborate with colleagues and subject matter experts to identify customer needs and potential insurance/risk management services to help them achieve business objectives. Create and deliver presentations outlining insurance/risk management strategy and summarizing company's results/achievements. Ensure customer accounts are in good standing and address urgent concerns in a timely manner while protecting the company from errors and omissions. Build a diversified professional network within company and customer organizations. Attend industry events to grow a strong network, maintain proximity to relevant insurance companies and vendors, and represent the company. Influence internal stakeholders, without formal reporting authority, to ensure timely execution and completion of initiatives. Provide time-sensitive client support across global time zones by participating in work-related communications such as virtual meetings and written correspondence to address urgent client needs, including insurance claims reporting and issuance of certificates of insurance.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Risk Management, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or a related position.
  • Must have five (5) years of experience with all of the following:
  • Working in insurance and risk management within the large commercial property and casualty market or with a major financial institution
  • Leading complex insurance and risk management projects, including full-cycle renewal processes, timeline development, cross-functional coordination, and planning of client-facing meetings and itineraries
  • Overseeing day-to-day client service delivery, including managing open item reviews, responding to client inquiries, and ensuring accurate and timely issuance of insurance certificates and client invoices
  • Negotiating multi-year compensation agreements with large commercial clients and structuring insurance placements by analyzing and negotiating policy terms for complex risk exposures with both admitted and non-admitted insurance carriers, as well as third-party intermediaries
  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for financial analysis, risk exposure evaluation, and project timeline management and developing client-facing deliverables—including presentations, briefing documents, and stewardship reports—using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, incorporating content from multiple contributors
  • Communicating complex insurance and risk management concepts across multiple lines of coverage to a broad range of stakeholders, including entry-level personnel, subject matter experts, C-suite executives, and enterprise risk management teams within sophisticated client organizations across diverse industries
  • Coordinating and negotiating with cross-functional stakeholders – including clients, internal teams, insurers, and third-party vendors – to align competing priorities, resolve complex issues, and maintain compliance with organizational objectives and client service standards
  • Participating in targeted industry conferences, client-facing forums, and internal strategy sessions to identify emerging risks and using these insights to design customized insurance and risk management programs tailored to complex commercial client needs
  • Utilizing financial analysis and foundational accounting principles to reconcile multifaceted compensation transactions – spanning brokerage fees, commissions, and other revenue sources – to ensure accuracy in client invoicing, internal revenue recognition, and budget forecasting.
  • 10% travel to locations throughout Georgia, other U.S. regions, and occasionally internationally to various and unanticipated company and client sites.
