At U.S. Bank, Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers, engaging them via multiple channels including in-person, by appointment, and virtually to provide the best possible counsel while adapting a digital first mindset. Strong client relationships are based on trust, assessing and attending to customers’ banking needs, obtaining and processing customer and account information, demonstrating and educating clients on available deposit and loan products and services, and recommending solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs. The role involves building and fostering relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up, identifying solutions, maintaining knowledge of consumer and business banking products (including digital), and providing a consistent optimal client experience. Consultants develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members, open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, submit credit applications, and proactively educate clients on emerging digital products and self-service technologies. The position requires leveraging available resources and technologies for operational excellence and accuracy. This role also requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, which includes a criminal background and credit check.
