Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or equivalent experience required.
  • Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO); certification is highly desired.
  • 3 years of progressive bookkeeping experience in a multi-client environment.
  • 3 years of client servicing experience managing complex tasks for small business owners.
  • Strong understanding of small business accounting and tax services.
  • Excellent verbal (phone) and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to your audience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, process improvement, critical thinking, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a self-directed, remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead communications with clients, addressing complex accounting, product, pricing, and procedural inquiries.
  • Manage client escalations through exceptional customer service and problem-solving techniques, combined with technical product knowledge.
  • Guide clients through service changes, ensuring clear communication of resolutions.
  • Prepare and clarify billing charges for additional services.
  • Process client termination requests efficiently.
  • Deliver high-quality bookkeeping and tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
  • Gain an understanding of client business models to enhance support services.
  • Provide advice on best practices for client communication.
  • Support onboarding, tax, and maintenance teams as needed via phone or email.
  • Spearhead and contribute to departmental and team projects.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
