About The Position

The Client Processing Representative I - Loan Administration at BNY Mellon plays a crucial role in providing quality client service and support within the Loan Administration team. This position is based in Pittsburgh, PA, and operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring three days of in-office work each week. The representative will handle various operational tasks, including transaction processing, reconciliations, and maintaining client accounts, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Prior experience handling Syndicated Loans, CDO/CLO, Middle Market loans, and Asset Servicing.
  • Experience in cash reconciliation is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are necessary.
  • Prior hands-on experience with WSO/SOLVAS is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in financial transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality client service and support to internal and external clients, including phone interaction and problem resolution.
  • Perform complex operational tasks, including processing updates to client accounts and handling exceptions.
  • Conduct reconciliations, including cash breaks and position differences, while serving as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve problems in client accounts or company records.
  • Maintain correspondent accounts in compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
  • Accurately open and update accounts or company records, collaborating with technology teams for efficiency.
  • Provide product knowledge and technical assistance, reviewing work of other staff and resolving escalated issues as needed.
  • Guide less experienced staff and assist with complex problems, ensuring quality and completion of own work.
