The CPS unit provides issuance and administrative services to the Business Units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Business or a related field of study.
  • Some experience in the insurance industry or related responsibilities.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with mid level managers and business partners.
  • Able to plan and prioritize own work.
  • Analytical skills and detail oriented.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office suite products specially Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Create and/or update clients and create service requests in the system to register all transactions to be processed.
  • Generate balance and experience reports for policy renewal process.
  • Book in the applicable system, all documents received from external (Agencies) and internal (Line of Business) clients as per the Underwriter’s instructions and transmittals.
  • Issue and deliver policies/endorsements processed by CPS and Underwriting according to established procedure.
  • Process policy maintenance tasks i.e. certificates, cancellation and non-renewal notices, and annulments.
  • Responsible for the proper filing and completeness of the policy and transaction documentation.
  • Comply with the established Service Level Agreements for issuing tasks and transactions.
  • Observe strict adherence to the department’s workflows, procedures and guidelines.
