This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the basics of the transportation industry and kickstart your career in logistics. You will shadow and work alongside successful, tenured, sales representatives who know the job inside and out. You will also train and work directly with our Sales & Account Management team and watch how they handle every detail of moving our customer’s freight. Finally, you will get in on the action and interact with our carrier partners. Responsibilities

• Partner with senior members of the operations team to quote rates to customers and confirm freight specifications.
• Prospect and identify decision makers at target customer companies.
• Identify, mitigate, and resolve potential operational delays and obstacles.
• Work accurately and effectively as part of the Zengistics team to make sure our customers and carrier partners are delighted with the experience of working with us!
• Place and receive calls with customer contacts, dispatchers, dock managers, shipping coordinators, and truck drivers.
• Document communication to ensure transparent and efficient carrier operations.
• Collect important paperwork from shippers and carriers.
• Tracking and tracing shipments and deliveries of our customer’s freight.
