About The Position

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing client implementation, ongoing account management, and operational excellence within a Third Party Administrator/Managed Services Organization. This role ensures seamless onboarding, drives client satisfaction, and optimizes internal processes to meet compliance, service, and performance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7–10 years of experience in account management, operations leadership, or client implementation within health plan, insurance, TPA or MSO environments.
  • Strong understanding of health plan insurance and operations, TPA and MSO operations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and multi-million-dollar account portfolios.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Client Implementation & Onboarding
  • Lead end-to-end onboarding for new clients, including project planning, timeline management, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate setup of systems, workflows, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct pre- and post-implementation reviews to guarantee smooth transitions.
  • Account Management
  • Serve as the primary liaison for assigned clients, building strong relationships and understanding their business needs.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, providing proactive support and resolving escalated issues.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, monitor KPIs, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date client data, documentation, and CRM records.
  • Operations Oversight
  • Oversee day-to-day operational activities, ensuring adherence to service standards, regulatory compliance, and risk management protocols.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with federal, state and client requirements.
  • Utilize data analytics tools (ARC) to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with sales, clinical, operational, and IT teams to deliver a consistent and exceptional client experience.
  • Coordinate internal resources for operational support.
