About The Position

Rockefeller Capital Management was established in 2018 as a leading independent financial advisory services firm. Originally founded in 1882 as the family office of John D. Rockefeller, the Firm has evolved to offer strategic advice to ultra- and high-net-worth individuals and families, institutions, and corporations from offices in 30 markets throughout the United States, as well as an office in London. The Firm oversees $151 billion in client assets as of December 31, 2024. A Private Advisor team within our Rockefeller Global Family Office business unit is seeking a motivated individual to join its growing team as a Client Operations Associate. The Client Operations Associate will work with our Private Advisor team members and will interact directly with high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate operates with a high attention to detail, has strong communication, organization, time management and problem-solving skills, and initiative.

Requirements

  • 2+ years prior experience in financial operations, client service, or account administration.
  • Series 7 & 66 strongly preferred, and if not, willing to obtain
  • BA/BS degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with high-net-worth clients or private wealth management
  • Familiarity with alternative investments and partnership documentation preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience with Tamarac and Addepar financial software a plus

Responsibilities

  • Account opening and maintenance
  • Transferring assets and money movement
  • Completing investment subscription documents
  • Ensure all capital calls are processed timely across the teams book of clients
  • Cash management and cash balance oversight
  • Assisting with client online access
  • Responding to account activity and statement inquiries
  • Administrative work as needed
  • Provide top quality service to clients and complete administration of client accounts
  • Handle operational aspects of client accounts including reporting on account holdings and investment performance, posting daily cash activity, and entering trade instructions
  • Process new accounts and account maintenance, by obtaining all necessary approvals and ensuring all client documentation is returned, completed and approved
  • Process all client cashiering requests (money market redemptions, wires, checks, journals, check deposits, etc.)
  • Prepare and maintain cash flow reports, including projections and reconciliations, using proprietary systems
  • Prepare client correspondence, obtain necessary management approvals, and transmit
  • Review daily activity and reconcile current client activity, funds transfers and previous day’s activity and trades against various clearing firm systems to ensure accuracy
  • Liase with other teams such as Operations, Technology, as well as external investment sponsors, to review daily processing of data in the relevant relationship accounts thus ensuring that reporting deliverables are accurate, complete, and timely.
  • Attend compliance and continuing education training sessions as required by regulatory agencies and the firm
  • Additional duties as assigned
