About the Role The Client Manager maximizes revenues from sales of the organization's products and/or services through a base of reseller partners in specific assigned channels and/or vertical markets. Locates, evaluates and recruits potential channel partners, including systems integrators, value-added resellers (VARs), distributors, dealers or retailers. Supports partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities, including marketing, advertising, sales promotions and training to achieve revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Have a proven track record of successfully managing large key accounts in a similar professional role
  • Possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Be adept at developing and executing strategic account plans to drive business growth and achieve targets
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and industry trends within the Account Management function
  • Be capable of providing leadership and mentorship to junior account management professionals
  • Possess a relevant background in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Have a solid grasp of financial principles and the ability to analyze sales data and market trends effectively
  • Be proficient in using CRM software and other relevant tools to manage client accounts efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand business opportunities
  • Building and maintaining enduring, long-term client relationships through regular communication and effective account management practices
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products or services to clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Providing leadership and guidance to junior account management professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
