About The Position

As a Client Manager, you provide direct support to producers and internal team members to aid both the retention of existing business and generation of new business. Your main focus is marketing new and renewal business, in partnership with producers, and includes building proposals and binding coverage. The Client Manager is a peer leader of the service team and is responsible for delivering excellent customer service along with the Client Advocate.

The Client Manager role requires a strong insurance background in order to act as a technical expert to producers and clients. Individuals may stay in a specific role or team for their entire career, or they may continue to learn new areas of insurance or coverage types by taking on different accounts.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Business/Commercial Lines Insurance customer service experience (required).
• Experience with Business/Commercial Lines book of business renewal marketing (required).
• Microsoft Office experience, specifically Word and Excel (required).
• Detail-oriented (required).
• Ability to organize and prioritize work responsibilities; is a self-starter (required).
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written (required).
• Ability to effectively work in a team. Set team deadlines and goals, and delegate to others (required).
• Active Resident Property and Casualty insurance license (required).

Nice To Haves

• CIC designation or equivalent (preferred).
• Epic experience (preferred).
